At The Tradesman Barbershop, we understand that for many children, a trip to the barber can be overwhelming. We have replaced the noise and rush of a traditional shop with a private, calm, and patient environment designed to put your child at ease. A Private, Sensory-Friendly Atmosphere: Our studio features a single barber chair in a private setting, eliminating the noise and distractions of other customers and clippers. This controlled environment is ideal for children with anxiety or those who are reactive to high-stimuli environments. You and your child control the ambiance—use our large-screen TV to watch their favorite cartoons or shows, play their favorite music, or enjoy a completely silent session. The Consultation: We believe in patience over speed. We take the time to consult with both the parent and the child to understand not just the desired look, but also the child's comfort level and any sensitivities we should be aware of. Unrushed Service: Every appointment is booked in a 1-hour interval. We intentionally schedule ample time so we never have to rush. This allows for a precision haircut while giving your child the breaks or extra attention they may need to feel safe and comfortable throughout the process. The Finish: The session concludes with a professional styling using high-quality products to achieve a look they can be proud of. Cancellation Policy
To ensure an unrushed and premium experience for all clients, please review our booking and cancellation standards. 1. Instant Confirmation & Schedule Conflicts For your convenience, our online system automatically accepts and confirms your appointment time, allowing us to securely hold your booking with a card on file. Conflict Resolution: While appointments are confirmed instantly, we review our schedule daily. In the rare event of a system scheduling conflict, priority is given to the first booking received. We will contact you as early as possible to resolve any overlaps and secure a new time if necessary. 2. Rescheduling & Cancellations We require 48 hours' notice for all schedule changes. This allows us enough time to fill the open spot. Standard Rescheduling (Preferred): You may reschedule for a different date/time at no cost if done more than 48 hours prior to your appointment. Standard Cancellation: If you choose to cancel your appointment completely (without rescheduling) more than 48 hours in advance, a $5.00 fee will be processed to cover credit card transaction costs. Late Cancellation (< 48 Hours): Any cancellation or reschedule request submitted within 48 hours of the appointment start time is subject to a $20.00 late fee. No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive for your appointment without notice will result in your card on file being charged for the full cost of services booked. 3. Booking Privileges & Communication Access to self-service online booking is a privilege. Clients who develop a history of frequent rescheduling, late cancellations, or no-shows will have their online booking access suspended and must book directly. Please ensure your email and phone number are current so we can coordinate your specific haircutting needs prior to your visit.
