For Adrian, service has always been a way of life. A retired Green Beret and long-time member of the Yelm community, he is best known as the co-owner of Southern Customs Tattoo Company and Dancing Needles Tattoo.
Now, he is bringing that same passion for art and community to The Tradesman Barbershop. Adrian believes that a barbershop should be a pillar of the community—a place where people feel safe, respected, and heard. Drawing on his experience as a Special Forces Medic, he has designed a studio experience that prioritizes cleanliness, privacy, and comfort for clients of all ages.

What an incredible experience. I took my 5 year old for a cut-he has a mullet. I’ve been searching for someone who understood mullet science. Each cut at other barbers I would leave not loving it, I could never figure out why. Adrian took the time to listen to my ramblings about not liking the mullet-I gave zero direction on why I didn’t like it usually, just that I didn’t know. He started explaining what he could do to fix it and the possible reasons why I didn’t like previous cuts at other barbers. BEHOLD! We have a successful cut that I love so much. Thank you, Adrian for saving the mullet and making it look the way it’s supposed to! You’re a wizard. The atmosphere was incredible. He was so good with my son. He was patient and kind whenever my son moved. He engaged in silly conversation with him. 100\10 recommend Adrian at The Tradesman Barbershop. You won’t be disappointed.
